1. Information We Collect

Device Data. When your smart glasses connect to the SecondSee platform, we collect device identifiers, connection timestamps, streaming session metadata (duration, resolution), and device health diagnostics. We do not store video or audio stream content on our servers unless you explicitly enable recording.

Account Data. When you create an account or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and job title. This is used to provide the service and communicate about your account.

Usage Analytics. We collect anonymized usage metrics including session counts, feature usage patterns, and error rates to improve the platform. These metrics cannot be traced back to individual users or devices.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and operate the SecondSee platform
• Process AI guidance requests in real-time (video frames are processed in-memory and not persisted)
• Send service notifications and account-related communications
• Generate operational analytics and reports for your organization
• Improve our services and detect security issues

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Enterprise customers can choose their data region. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Video and audio streams are processed in real-time for AI inference. Stream content is not recorded or stored unless you explicitly enable recording for your organization. Recorded content is stored in your designated region and subject to your retention policies.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days after account termination for audit purposes. Usage analytics are retained for 24 months. You can request immediate deletion of your organization's data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Object to or restrict processing of your data

6. AI and Machine Learning

SecondSee uses AI models to provide real-time guidance and quality assurance. We do not train machine learning models on your data. AI inference runs on-demand and frames are not persisted. Custom AI models trained for Enterprise customers use only that customer's data and remain under the customer's control.

7. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect SecondSee to CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) or other integrations, data is shared with those services according to their own privacy policies. We only transmit the minimum data required for the integration to function.
